This weekend I’ll be photographing Dave and Sally’s wedding. They are my nextdoor neighbours and the wedding is taking place in my home village of Bulkington, which is great as it means hardly any effort to get there!

Double Family Shoot in Barford

A few weeks ago I was asked by my neighbour’s sister to come and photograph two sets of parents and four little girls ranging in age from 4 months to 5 years old. While perhaps it was a slightly daunting prospect, the shoot was great fun and I ended up with plenty of cute pictures of the kids – and some not-so-bad ones of the parents as well!

Bump and Family Shoot chez Simone

Before I finished my recent journalism course and left Manchester, I went to visit Simone, one of my fellow trainees, to photograph her bump, as well as her son and her man John. It was my first maternity shoot but everything went really well and I got some shots that pleased both client and photographer.

Well, long time no blog updates! I do have an excuse…I’ve just started a journalism training course up in Manchester so haven’t had much chance to take some photos. However, the last couple of weeks I have trialling a new idea of mine – lunchtime portrait.

Yesterday I headed to Grange Farm near Ryton to do a shoot with a work colleague of my Mum and her family – three teenage daughters, one dog and one horse.
